What ever happened to the "Satanic child sex ring" in Ponchatoula?
The last I heard was over a year ago, where the investigators backpedaled on a bunch of stuff, and many of the defendants got released on bail. There was an article that talked about a lack of evidence. I've Google and emailed the Tangipahoa Sheriff and DA, but never received answers.

I and other DUers were accused of some nasty things by other posters for displaying caution when this case broke, and I am curious if anyone has heard a peep about it.

Just wondering.

4. Thanks for the info -- I searched that site and never saw this article
It appears that my (and others') first comments on the case were correct.

Thanks again!

6. The other day someone in a DU post was asking about the FEMA
...trailers and what happened to the money that was spent on those. It is unrelated here, but a the above link I saw this news flash:

<snip>
FEMA trailer parks

Hundreds of FEMA trailers stand empty
For nearly two months, Dekotha Devall and her five children were the only people living in a 198-trailer FEMA park in Morgan City. City officials say the Federal Emergency Management Agency spent about $7.5 million to build it — and question why the 30-acre Lake End Trailer Park in St. Mary Parish, with row upon row of shiny new trailers, remains almost empty three months after being built.
<FYI for whoever may be interested>

7. Read the article.... "while it's legal to drink cat blood" really
that's probably a law that should be tightened up.

9. Okay.
Cats are domesticated animals raised for companionship and light pest control duties.

Cows are a renewable resource used for both foodstuffs (steaks, milk) and clothing.
