My favorite RW'er "Christian" shows his religious bigotry, again...
I've posted LiveJournal posts from my favorite RW "Christian," here, this time he shows another example of just how damn stupid he is.

Tell me when this sounds familiar.....

They enter a relationship with a disturbed, violent other. This other is capable of genteel and even civilized manners, generally, when making a public appearance. But in private continue to be unstable, exploding into fits of incredible irrational violence.

When the abuse starts, they maintain a state of denial, downplaying every incident as a fluke.... They are kept dependent, financially and otherwise, upon their abuser... and kept in line (behind closed doors) by threats of violence against their friends and loved ones, by fear of being cut off without support, by constant verbal belittling and haranguing by their abuser... but when they refer to the brutality, they blame themselves first--- making excuses for the abuser, talking about how cultured and sophisticated the abuser allegedly used to be, downplaying the physical evidence of their abuser's brutishness as minor accidents or incidents, or openly lying about who was behind them.

As the violence grows worse, they attempt to appease their abuser with ever more conciliatory favoritism. Their excuses become ever more irrational; they insist that their abuser's ever-increasing fits of explosive violence are their own fault, that they must have angered the abuser somehow, that if they were better to the abuser, this sort of thing wouldn't happen....

And when that is no longer possible, when the abuser finally openly and unmistakeably assaults them, and even openly vows to KILL them, when armed force arrives on the scene to stop the abuser once and for all----
They will blame the one wielding force for the situation, and even attack them when their back is turned for "meddling."

Now.

Did we just describe the relationship between a battered wife and her husband---

Or the relationship between the Democrats and the Islamics?

Personally? To me it seems pretty clear that THE DEMOCRATS WANT AMERICA TO BE ISLAM'S BITCH.

1. Who are these "Islamics" of which this putz speaks?
When the clown can't get the terminology right, he's pretty much lost a thinking audience with that point alone.

2. From the Ann Coulter school of reasoning perhaps?
Yes, name calling always works wonders in getting to the meat of the issue. I wonder why don't all of us evil Democrats just leave and let these seemingly perfect Republicans have the country? Makes my head hurt......

And Hitler and his Nazis were "leftists."

Oh, and he's a dedicated creationist.

4. Well, good for him
He is of course entitled to his opinion.... They are however, just opinions and no better than, yours, mine or any other. I wouldn't waste my time on him anymore.

5. The problem is we can't just ignore him.
It's him and his ilk that have saddled us with Bush.

7. Of course he would be a creationist...

After all, his continued existence is a potent rebuttal to the very notion of evolution and "natural selection." :spank:

And how many of you, when reading that story of the abuser and the victim who enables him, kept thinking "Bush and the American people"...?

6. Sounds like he's describing the relationship between GWB
and all those wingnuts.

They enter a relationship with a disturbed, violent other... check

When the abuse (in the repug case lies) starts, they maintain a state of denial, downplaying every incident as a fluke ... check

As the violence (lies, distortion, graft) grows worse, they attempt to appease their abuser with ever more conciliatory favoritism ... check

when armed force (truth, honest reporting) arrives on the scene to stop the abuser once and for all---- They will blame the one wielding force (telling the truth, reporting) for the situation, and even attack them when their back is turned for "meddling." ... check

Personally? To me it seems pretty clear that THE republicans WANT AMERICA TO BE Bush's BITCH.

9. Spot on
Lefties have been making the "America/Bush = battered wife/abusive husband" analogy for years.

Can't these RW imbeciles come up with a single argument of their own, rather than twisting and perverting the arguments they steal from the left?

Oh, of course they can. They come up with such gems as "trickledown economics", "fighting them over there" and "unitary executive". God damn they're pathetic.

Welcome to DU!

12. He's unmarried.
In fact, in one LJ entry, he admitted he's never had a girlfriend even.

11. Sounds more like the relationship between the bushes and the voters.
Since when is a religion identified with the Democratic party? The democratic members that I know are of so many different religions that to say one is predominantly supported over another is ridiculous. The only political party in this country identified with a religion is the repubs.
