15. My son's in college and he's still getting e-mail at his home address.

I had to forward some of his e-mail to his college address and this facebook thing popped up quite a bit. For example, there was a comment from the facebook people asking him if he had approved a certain nametag, and also several inquiries stating that certain students had asked to be added to his friends list. I believe that also had to do with facebook. So, is it a webpage like "My Space?"

Facebook has less customization than myspace, but it's fast, easy to use, and a good way to get hold of other students.

Registration just involves signing up with your college e-mail.

I've noticed Republicans/authoritarians/etc... generally watch a lot of TV. My scary ROTC roommate last year (see upthread, posts w/Nicole) almost never got off the couch. He'd just sit there and watch HBO for hours on end.

13. I had a suite mate at Mississippi State who screamed racial slurs

at night because I had a black roommate. His roommate was always trying to shut him up, and apologized to me a couple of times for the jackas's behavior. He never apologized to my roommate, though.
