Why Do Stupid, Childish, Angry and Hurtful People Seem to Rule the World?
Why do they get to do what they want, when they want, how they want, the consequences be damned?

How did they get there, and how do they stay there?

The president of the US farts, and expects his loyal subjects to laugh. Is this what we have come to?

How low can we go?

How low is the lowest possible point? Does he actually have to take a crap in the Rose Garden before people realize what a group of insane imbeciles are running this country.

If I heard that story right, I am sitting here in disbelief.

2. Because only stupid, childish, angry and hurtful people...
...are sufficiently psychologically damaged to want to rule the world. Anyone sane is happy to live their lives, love their friends and families, do what good they can, enjoy the pleasures life offers them and, with luck, pass peacefully in their sleep at an advanced age.

Only the profoundly sick have the need to dominate and rule. Those with a desire to control the world should be treated, not elected.

4. That, and too many of us allow them to
Remember how the kids who acted up in class always got the attention, while the students who worked hard too often were ignored? Or my favorite, listening to screaming three year olds in department stores getting five billion chances to shut up by their parents before the tantrums result in getting whatever toys or attention were originally sought by said screamer? Or how many of us zealously follow the antics of couch-bouncing celebrities while plugging our heads in the sand as our constitutional rights are eroded all around us?

It's often harder, even more frightening at times, to stand up and say ENOUGH! It can take a lot of courage, a lot of nerve, to face the storm. And so many of us are too fundamentally lazy to stand up, for fear of the hard work it might take.

Eesh, I'm a bit irritated with humanity tonight, can you tell?

3. "Conservatives" are seriously damaged.

AND, they are a serious threat to this country and to this world.

Just listen to Rush Limbaugh and you'll get a clue. Don't forget that the Republicans made Limbaugh an 'Honorary Member' of the Congress because they recognized his influence in their takeover.

There IS a camaraderie to their madness. It mirrors the supposed "terrorists" they are fighting. They are warring with their own reflections. Too bad they are taking all the rest of down in the "war" with their personal delusions and demons.

5. They lack a conscience so they go where honest people never tred.
The cretins really do believe they're entitled to whatever it is they take from us. I know one in particular who had a sig line that went along the lines that he didn't think much of the people around him when he was poor, and then he became rich and was sure of it.

It is just an arrogance that cannot be tamed by the kinds of social mores of our parents time, because America loves money, and they don't care how the son of a bitch gets it.

6. I don't know but here's a
question i want to know, is our approach working? I mean i yell and bash the dumb repugs but i don't think it's getting through. I mean in the real world when i talk to someone that genuinely supports Bush i realize their morans. I don't have time to teach them basic education to get them up to snuff so what do i do? just yell and say my one vote might out way them? the problem is there are more dumbasses then literate people. What do we do?

Those with the Gold Rule.
Or choose who rules.
Hope you didn't think you actually had a choice in it.

8. LOL sorry, I couldn't help myself. The image of his royal
duffusness(?) craping in the rose garden took me by surprise. If he hasn't already done it, he'll probably make it photo op when he does.

In answer to your original question, bullies always seem to get their way, until someone steps up and beats the hell out of them....something I'd love to se done publicly.

10. Absolute power corrupts absolutely
I think it was Thomas Jefferson that once said, "Government will destroy and corrupt everything and everyone that it touches."

11. I guess because the same type put them their and keep them in
power. We have history books to look at this and can find 100's of them.

12. Some people enjoy dominating other people,
so they're quite ambitious in obtaining power to do so. Given their desire for domination it's more or less implicit that they have very few scruples.
Btw they do care about the consequences, just not about negative consequences their actions have for others.
