6. Now that's just bullshit. No fucking way 81% are willing. What they must
mean is that they are willing to take rights and conveniences from others.

People who want the strictest polices are the biggest advocates of profiling.

They want people to lose freedoms, just not themselves

7. It's an unfair question
For part one of their question my answer is yes.
Part two no.

I will give up being able to bring a drink on the plane, bring my cd player or extra batteries on the plane if it makes the flight safer. I am also not opposed to having sky marshalls on my plane.
But when they say 'give up some freedoms' I need a more definitive description of the freedoms I lose.

on note: I live in Korea and travel a lot --especially to China and Mongolia. They have armed sky marshalls on Air China. They reserve the right to restrict things like extra batteries at a moments notice. The Chinese use the full body scan x-ray machine. These things don't bother me.

9. What would you be unwilling to lose?
I'm curious. What kind of freedoms must you have?

By the way, are you Korean?

14. That's a very good question
I'm not sure what kind of freedoms I must have because I'm not sure what freedoms they would take away -- especially since flying is not something you have to do.
I have a general distrust of governments (all governments) especially when they talk about giving up freedoms/rights for even a short period of time. I generally think all governments are in some way not to be trusted.
So, I guess I don't really have an answer for you on what freedoms I must have. I guess it depends on how broad a definition of 'freedom' you want to have. The 'freedom to carry on water' I don't have a problem losing because it's not really a freedom. The freedom to be a member of a religious community and still fly I believe is a freedom and should be protected.

As to your second question. I am not Korean. My wife and my two oldest daughters are Korean. My two younger daughters are Kor-Am.
