Its the Law:Returning Veterans Get their Jobs Back ya right
When Military reservist or National Guardsmen finsh and active-duty deployment they are briefed about their rights under the Uniformed Service Eeemployment Rights Act,or USERRA

But this law is not being enforced by this do nothing Republican Congress
Because DOD and Bush have been redeploying these troops three to four times. Companies say they can not wait this long for the returning troops to take their jobs back. While I can understand that.
This is the law. But again we see how Republicans think they are above the law.

There is a good read on http://www.vawatchdog.org by David Hendricks but it does not go into detail how many of these troops are not recieving their jobs back.

Some of you know I head a veterans org. We are finding homeless troops from Iraq on the streets.
This subject seems to be tabo to the Republicans on the Veterans Committee headed up by Replug Steve Buyer. This reason is one of many you can push against Replugs. When they say we support the troops its a huge lie.

2. Hey, they can get their old job dodging IEDs & lugging ammo belts around
in the Iraqi summer sun. They can count on getting THAT old job back for sure sooner or later what with the stop-loss program and the recall of 4 year grads back from the ready reserve.

if you are work for a small business IIRC there is no protection

5. Sadly it is a problem
I think it has an elegant solution. No fines, no jailtimes. Just this, the CEO and any other manager who is involved in the termination of a reserve soldier has to take his or her place in the field of battle. I bet you would see none of this crap.
