"The Left" a misnomer applied to people who really are just advocating....
common sense.

A good indicator of just how far the political discussion in this country has moved to the right is how they describe common sense approaches to problems as being "liberal" or "far left"

Common sense and moderate positions are now described, without dispute from talking-heads like Matthews and the like, as "left" are "liberal" ideas.

The Fairness Doctrine MUST be re-instated.

1. The problem I have with the word "liberal" or "left"...
...is that too many liberals and lefties run away from those words. They are only bad words if you let the Republicans use them as such.

If justice and equity and integrity are "leftist" then I wear the label proudly. Let's remember that Fascist Italy and Fascist Spain were regarded as "left" from Fascist Germany.
