Latest Connecticut Poll: Lamont Cuts Lead to 2%
American Research Group that the Senate race in Connecticut is in a statistical tie with 44% for Lieberman, 42% for Lamont, just 3% for Schlesinger, and 11% are undecided.

In addition, Bush's candidate, Joe Lieberman, holds this slim lead due to the fact that he is polling 68%-32% among Republicans. However, it is in sharp contrast to the 12 point lead in an earlier Quinnipiac poll.

ARG is a very interesting poll that gives great hope to the Lamont supporters and the Americans who want to see a real Democrat in the Senate, not an ass-kissing bull-shit artist.

By the way, since everyone who knows anything about global politics is convinced that W. Bush is an ASS, the fact that Lieberman was caught on tape smooching the Prez, that literally makes him an ass-kisser.

3. Wow
If 32% of Republicans are anti-Lieberman I wonder how many are for Lamont? I'm thinking it could be around 20%, if you figure around 6% for Schlesinger and another 6 undecided. But I don't know what the registration stats are in CT so that's just a guess.

If you scroll down to the chart break-down, you'll see that ned has 18% Republican support. Ned has to cut into Lieberman's unaffiliated support.

4. Last week, we had one poll that showed a Lieberman double-digit lead...
...this week we have TWO polls (Rasmussen & ARG) showing a statistical dead heat. This, DESPITE Liebermania on all the networks after the primary, AND after backing from several prominent repigs.

If I were Joe, I'd avoid help from the repigs - even repigs are repulsed by repigs at this point.

6. The MSM should jump on this...
and schedule lieberman for all the talk shows this weekend.

The more lieberman whines in public... the lower his numbers.

8. Wolf Blitzer is on top of this one...
He had old Joe in his "situation room" for a loooonnng time yesterday afternoon. I think the funniest thing was when he asked him wouldn't he give up his Democrat moniker and become a Rethug if he were offered a cushy (and powerful) committee leader job by Bill Frist. The lady then did prostest too much vowing and averring what a good boy (independent democrat - Hah!) am I and that he would never turn Republican for a committee leadership job.

Wow... Blitzer acted like he didn't believe ole Joe... wonder why that? :puke:
