yeah right.....

http://www.iht.com/articles/2006/08/22/news/bush.php

<snip>

In calling the opposition the "Democrat Party" Bush was repeating a truncated, ungrammatical version of the party's name that some Democrats have called a slight, an assertion the White House dismissed as ridiculous.

This is interesting to see and I wonder who asked this question?

1. So if I refer to the "Repuke Party,"
it's not a slight if I say it's not?

3. I Fail To See The Issue Here.........
* is touting Democracy around the world and a definiton for a Democrat is 'one who believes in or practices democracy.

Why haven't we used that when we've been told in the past that we are unpatriotic. In actuality - we democrats more closely resemble what * is trying to promote.

The definition of 'democratic' is relating to or favoring democracy; relating to or appealing to the common people; not snobbish.

What's the problem?

5. When will we start calling them RepubliCONS?

That is exactly what they are and yet we are such "nice guys" that we would never do that ~ so the bullies know they can stick it to us all the time.
