For the rest of us Christians, we pretty much dismiss the ideal of any kind of 'rapture'. According to Wikipedia, the rapture movement never existed until the late 1800s.

Basically they're people who claim to take a literal interpretation of the bible and still claim Red Lobster as their favorite restaurant
