That aspect isn't talked about, because the one thing I do hear is the 12th imam which is not a mainstream christian believe and would therefore be less useful in making fun of Christians.

But the Rapture is a Christain Doctrine - it's in the bible - I'm not going to say that if you don't believe in it your not a Christian (cause that's not true) but I will say that it's not a belif held only by the lunatic fring of Christianity.

The rapture is not in the Bible and it's not Christian Doctrine.

It goes back maybe a hundred years or so based on some screwy American evangelist (I could be off a bit on that) and it's only popular because of some trashy paperback novels.

It's no more Christian Doctrine than The Da Vinci Code.

Those folks are totally mad.

First, the rapture is something that some 19th century Holy Joe just made up.

Second, wishing bad things on a whole world just so you can get to die and go to heaven is unbelievable schedenfreude. Why don't these folks just commit suicide so we don't have to go through the "bad things on the whole world" part?
