In the month before the election, GOP support for Schlesinger will materialize as if out of nowhere. The Dems will be almost evenly split between Lamont and Lieberman, while most Republicans will firm up behind their candidate, giving him a razor's edge victory.

In Connecticut, does a candidate require a majority, or can a person get elected with only a plurality?
