"We're not leaving so long as I'm the president." g w bush*
with these words the chimperor in thief is saying they have no plans whatsoever of leaving Iraq. I wonder how these nine words will play out in the psyche of the Iraqi people. Embolden them maybe?

1. I know I take his words as a call to action.

He has clearly defined the agenda for the new Democratic Congress. I appreciate his unusual candor. Of course he's not leaving, not as long as the Iraq occupation (oil blockade) is reaping brazillions in profits for the Bush-Laden petroleum cartel.

7. If 61% disapprove of the war in Iraq then does
this mean 61% would approve of impeachment?

8. He's certainly made it clear that he is the go-to guy for Iraq.
So if 61% know it's time to go, then 61% no know it's time for the go-to guy to go. We will easily flip the Congress, if our candidates make it clear that only Dems can impeach.

4. Meanwhile, our troops just keep on dying. Two more from my state,
one a young man from a nearby town. Words fail me to express the disdain I have for Bush and his minions.

16. He needs to go.
I have said this for a long time. I am glad now that the demented chimp has finally admitted publicly that he is the problem; not part of the solution. We can only hope that these, his own words, will prove a powerful tool in the effort to impeach him.

6. No nuance there huh?
No adapting, improvising, overcoming. No flexibility. No plan. No desire to upset the neanderthal base. And absolutely no disire to say I was wrong so we are going to try something different. Pride and ignorance make the base smile broadly.

11. I guess he figures if we stay long enough the Iraqi will finally
embrace us and roll out all those flowers and stuff, be kissing the boots of our brave and mislead soldiers.

25. Congressional members wont say
but I dont believe they have any choice but to impeach..I thought that a Democratic congress would not want to be tied down with the process but after what he said yesterday impeachment is the only course of action that can save our young men and women.
This is what * really said.."We are staying in Iraq and there isn't a damn thing you can do about it"
