4. Last week for Rob, sez Jon.
Still a great stable of funny people. MoFo Samantha Bee on MoFo snakes in MoFo places ("you might want to wipe him off") was hilarious tonite.

5. I think it's great, the opportunities they are getting
very much deserved - and I think TDS does a good job with the new corresopondents; I like them. :)

7. That is x-zactly what I told Dr. "D" the other night.
TDS is a breeding/proving ground, just like Second City or SNL. More so, actually. Jon Stewart has to be careful about who is the top dog.

13. Actually Colbert was part of Second City.
I think they just grow great comedians in the back of the building or something...

11. I hear that Black's concert tours will further restrict his TDS gigs.
I do love the Lewis Black gigs on Comedy Central.

BTW: Ron White of the Blue Collar set did a gig here in Greenville the other night (Bi-Lo Center). I didn't go, but of those Blue Collar assholes, I kind of like old Ron. He is a right-wing, cigar-smoking, likker-swilling misogynist .. but he is hell funny. His buds are not.

20. If he is not a repug, he has a funny way of showing it
A lot of his jokes are at the expense of Progressives. I dont think I ever heard a bad word about repugs. If I am wrong, please correct me.

22. I never actually found his humor...
very political, although I vaguely remember that him saying that he was much more of a liberal than his colleagues on the BCCT. Just something I remember. I think the whole misogynist thing is just part of his act because that schtick plays to the baser instincts of his mostly male audience.

Larry the cable guy is a college graduate from the midwest who TOTALLY fakes that whole persona.

By the way, check out this open letter from David Cross to Larry the Cable Guy. David owns booboo's ass.

17. He may be starring in a TV show called "The Winner"
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0494210/
"Plot Outline: A successful guy looks back to the time he spent living with his parents when he was in his thirties."

If that TV show never airs, then at least some of the movies listed here probably will be released:
