Opinions on T-shirt layout
I created a new t-shirt layout this weekend and was hoping to get some feedback, positive or negative. TIA

2. I like it. My personal taste is to use the word "will" in favor of
"shall," because I always think that "shall" is an imperative whenever I read it.

Are you going to do it front and back? That would be a little cleaner, I think. The top design on the front, and the bottom on the back.

4. Two things . . .
Edited on Mon Aug-21-06 08:12 PM by MrModerate
1) A bit hard to read -- might want to clean up the fonts

2) Along the lines of the earlier poster, simplify the wording:

Those who promote
FEAR

Have the support of
COWARDS

Courageous Americans vote
DEMOCRATIC

18. Might want to add the phrase that has been appearing in DU
(and I will not try to claim credit for it):

"I'm not afraid enough to vote Republican"

9. I would lose the type in blue... the brave americans democrat thing...
Edited on Mon Aug-21-06 09:29 PM by QuestionAll...
it's a bit redundant for one thing. maybe.
and I, along with many others, don't believe in honest votes so why continue the fairy tale?

also would free up some space to make your letters larger that are in red background.

13. I'd move the lower text up some.
May just a little above center of the blue part, even if that means making the word "cowards" slightly smaller.

15. I love the concept
but from a t-shirt printers POV that is going to be a very difficult image to print.

There is a lot going on there and color balance is going to be very difficult. If you want to print that much color on dark shirts, you're looking at a much more expensive job.
