1. trick question.
I can't vote. Because to say yes implies I want Hillary to get the nomination.

8. I would support her if nominated (and prepare to leave the country)

Because we would be in for another 8 years of neocons. She can't win.

4. No. I don't support the idea of political dynasties.
Even if Hillary was my perfect candidate, my answer would still likely be the same.

5. We are not a monarchy!!!!
And since we are not a monarchy, there is no right or entitlement bestowed on a family.

The US has had political families from its very inception (Adams). But I am very uncomfortable with this kind of thing.

My answer is, "No."

9. We can do better than pro-corporate free trade Democrats
Honestly, we can do far better than electing presidents who are Democrats yet would attack the very same base that put the person there by assaulting the well-being of the working person for the sake of the corporate bottom line. It's an absolute disgrace and an act of inhumanity.

11. I am warming up to Hillary Clinton as candidate.
I voted for her for Senate when I lived in NY. Since moved to FL.
Sure she has her haters. But she is smart, and will get things done.
She wouldn't be my first choice, but I would have no problem working for her election.

12. Sure, Hilary someday--but not in '08.
Let her be VP for a few years under someone else--that will prove that she's up to the task and defang some of right-wing knee-jerkers who hate her.

14. Not unless it's George Clinton
Edited on Mon Aug-21-06 04:01 PM by 5thGenDemocrat
DeWitt Clinton would be okay, too -- but he's still dead, right?
John
It's not like the Democratic Party really much cares what I think, anyhow. Or what anyone outside of CNN or the DLC thinks, either.

15. Sure, why not?
If she wins the primary, that means a majority of Democrats want her to be our choice in the GE. Will I vote for her in the primary? Probably not. But I could think of lots of potential candidates that would be far, far worse in the WH.
