How will we know when the mission is accomplished??
Bush says we will not leave until the mission is accomplished. Of course, he said that once before and he was probably closer to correct then than now. We have overthrown their dictator, set up a new government, recruited police and security forces for them, shown them how ot have elections, built schools and hospitals. What more can we do? What else do we need to do? Is it up to us to kill all the people that are against the government that we set up? Each day that we stay seems to make it more and more difficult to "accomplish the mission". Why not just declare victory and get the hell out??

3. Because the Evil International Corporatist Cabal needs to control
the oil reserves and how much gets pumped out of the ground. They have to control the price per barrel. They are getting what they want now - they can limit Iraqi production, as Big Oil wants them to do (have to keep the price per barrel up).

It won't end until they've made ever last dime that could be made out of oil production and sale.

Ah, I'm so glad I got to pass that Hummer this morning in my Prius; I smiled, and made a motion like a gas gauge would - going DOWN fast. And, I thanked the One for that gas tank I did NOT buy this week (this helps with the anger a bit).

17. I should have said,
"Because the EICC needs to control the oil reserves, and how much gets pumped out of the ground, it will be a long while before we get out."

5. Good question. No one's said what the hell the 'mission' in Iraq is, so
how do we know when it's been accomplished.

6. You didn't get the memo???
Either that, or you don't understand how things work.

They've already declared victory (May 2, 2003). The mission is accomplished. Period.

I don't understand what everybody is screeching about. Iraq's a done deal and has been for over three years. Finito. End of discussion.
:sarcasm:

14. Guess all Iraqis have to join hands and sing

I've been waiting to hear that from them

1) WMD -- None found, ok so there are no WMD there, no threat

2) Remove Saddam --- He's in a jail cell on trial will be executed

3) Elections --- I think they have voted a couple of times

Guess we are waiting for the sing-a-long

16. I still haven't figured out which mission it is
Bush seems to have opened up all sorts of missions . First it was Bin Ladden , then it become Saddam and freedom Iraqi , then suddenly it was mission accomplished but wait "bring um on" sort of blew that . Of course 9/11 was another mission that to date was a grand success for the BCF .

Bush then desided his mission was to pull social security out of our hands . Then because this did not work out well he attacked our security and privacy .

Next mission was to allow New Orleans to drown . Then hand tax cuts out to the rich . All along his mission was to get control of the supreme court and install his hand picked thugs into every corner of our system so he had control over anything we tried to retain .

Next mission was to take away benefits from the troops . Next was to focus on Iran , then it went into allowing Israel to bomb the hell out of Lebanon , now he is trying to come off as the rebuilder of Lebanon .

Bush has a long endless list of missions and each drags us closer to a police state living side by side in detention centers if we are not killed by one of the effects of one his multi-sided mass imbedded missions of madness and insanity first .

There has to be a master plan which will unfold as the real grand mission all of these scattered missions are leading up to . However it's impossible to figure out just what this is , I do know it is not good for most of us sitting here wondering what tomarrow will bring our way .

the earth will be completely out of oil, with Iraq's reserves the last brought to market by Exxon-Mobil-Halliburton at the price of $10,000 a barrel.
