Bush says America to give money and bring businesses into Lebanon/ Israel
Who wants to bet that "bringing business investment into Lebanon" will mean "control." He also is sending tons of Wheat into Lebanon for "relief." (wonder if it's GMO wheat that they couldn't dump anywhere else?)

He's promising lots of aid to rebuild Lebanon and Israel. Why should our tax money go into rebuilding what our bombs took out. Isn't it kind of hypocratic that we bomb and then rebuild, bomb and then rebuild.

But, who will bet that neither country gets all this money he promised. think about New Orleans. Whenever Bush promises something it always ends up the opposite of what he says. But, I'm sick and tired of him throwing money at problems he creates because of his ineffectual P-Residency, even if it's a promise that doesn't deliver. It's OUR MONEY and he thinks it's HIS MONEY to do with what he wants.

He's raving on about bringing Democracy to the world, terraists hate us....yadda, yadda, yadda.

1. By the way he addressed Helen Thomas as "Hell-on" and reporters
Edited on Mon Aug-21-06 09:21 AM by KoKo01
laughed. He's lost his mind...Press conference is typical Bush frat boy with jokes about "seersucker is coming back" and "this is like doing a dance." :eyes: Joking and laughing, joking and laughing. Rove must think everyone will find him "charming" as usual.

Now he's lecturing and shouting...terraists ...we will not leave Iran...shouting..."the history has not been written on the ME." "We won't leave before Mission completed...changing tactics on the ground...instituting "Plan Baghdad."

He's shouting at reporter again..."Saying we will stand with this government..and I stand with the Iraqi's...they want our help...terrists will come over here if we leave...saying there are "folks running...who want to cut off our money for Iraq."

Israel already gets enough from the US. I wouldn't give them anymore
to encourate them to keep on doing what they have been doing.

3. tons of wheat
Years ago a huge batch of mercury treated wheat was sent to either Ethiopia or Sudan - can't remember which. It was for planting but was pirated by the relavent government and sold as food. The resultant death toll was appalling. Maybe this time they won't even bother to label it.

Apart from that - for aid read pre-paid Haliburton contract.
