3. "I hear a lot of talk about civil war"
He's talked to "a lot of people". The Iraqis want "a united country".

He's admitting that it's not united? A civil war?

"A failed Iraq...." (Propaganda lines) Nice way to use the opportunity for talking points.

Lots of gas. Terrorists trying to destroy region. No answer to the actual question of whether US/Israeli actions made Hezbollah stronger.

why he always gives Israel a pass

Dumbya - who started this - Helen interrupts...he says I know you're waiting for my answer. This never would have occured if a terrorist organization, a state within a state hadn't attacked a sovererign nation. Israel has the right to defend herself. it's their decision-making which leads to the tactics they chose. The world must understand ...bla bla bla. Does not answer the question.:puke: :puke:

54. This is the same statement he made about Iraq in the lead up to
the invasion. Bush's idea of diplomacy is to threaten a country with invasion unless they do as he wants and then start dropping bombs when they refuse to follow his directives. Just about as diplomatic as a sledgehammer.

He's rambling on about "dry debris" and money available. Seems to be blaming the people.

"Each state ought to develop a housing recovery plan."

Is it just me or is he skating on thin ice here?

56. This vote for Lamont sends a message that we DO care about
the middle east. How disgusting to say that this vote has a detrimental effect on world image. How deluded to suggest that the enemy will only respond to might and force.
How twisted the truth is in his world.
1. He has the right to wiretap if he reports it within, what is it, 72hrs?
2. He said Mission Accomplished but then says must stay until mission accomplished in Iraq.
3. He insists Saddam had WMD,had connections with AlQuiada yet hope will spur the tide of terrorism. Hope and forced government change is the disconnect I see.
The Press loves him. It's like they forget the lives right now being threatened by our occupation in a violent, hatred filled mismanaged war zone of his making.
His double talk and winks are like a magic act. He has convinced those in his presence that the emperor has clothes, but when you step back it is obvious he is leading this country into a vision of Corporate Controlled Crone Reality.
Who will lift the veil, clearly show the truth, and make him follow the constitutional will of a well informed American People?
