We lost about 2,500 or so in Pearl Harbor. How many did we lose during the actual war of WW2? Over 400,000.

I can't see that anyone has made a clear list of how many of those were Americans, as in actual citizens, but it's bound to be a large percentage.

I too am guilty of asking a question here, that I certainly could have looked up the answer to.
I assume a simple question like this is part of the ongoing conversation that takes place here on DU.
I believe the count just went up again today.
Of course the death toll is an irrelevant factor to Bush.
So many dead bodies since Bush was handed too much power for such a stupid man.
