Imus on MSNBC every weekday morning....
..for 3 hours.

Does that make business sense?

Anyone know what kind of ratings he gets on MSNBC?

1. It's a conspiracy to get us to not watch TV. I mean, Imus is certainly
no draw, and MSNBC must know it.

...and Larry King has guests in the studio.

Imus' guests are on the phone and lasts 3 hours. Does Imus' show get good ratings?

14. When IMUS first went on TV his sidekick Bernie asked: "Why don't people...
...just put a prune on top of their radio and watch that."

I haven't listened to Imus in several years but I thought that was funny.

17. I imagine he's got one hell of a contract....
since when WNBC became WFAN and was all-sports 24 hours a day, Imus stayed on in the morning drive-time. That was the NYC flagship NBC station-- his home base.

He's been on and off MSNBC over the years, and I gotta say that it makes the dreary radio show even drearier watching those guys kiss his dead ass. Imus was once a pretty funny guy, and I'm not sure whether his stopping drinking made him a putz, or the brazillion dead brain cells from when he was putting away a couple of quarts a day.

Oh, he's off the nose candy, too. And still not funny any more.
