3. I think this is the money order scam -
You cash the money order at your bank, take your cut and send the remainder on the them only the MO is a fake and you are stuck with making up the money.

4. first glance - scam
google - scams hotjobs and read up on ebay scams,

basics , wait 3 weeks for all certified checks to clear, never wire money before the 3 weeks are up. wait a month or 2 for international checks to clear,

if forwarding merchandise give a call to the sender 3 days after receiving it and see if they still feel the same about their shipment

5. if its too good to be true?
Sounds to me that people send thier goods to your home address, might be a credit card scam you might end up handling stolen goods

I imagine they get quite a few takers, too in this age of unemployment. I was tempted to respond.

13. If something looks to good to be true
- it probably is. I'm glad you were suspicious :)

When you want to have a laugh plough through this lot which is one would you find if you searched "scamming the scammers" It's where people have had the time to string the scammers along : http://www.419eater.com/html/ben_okezie.htm

Not sure if it's in that bunch or not but there's an hilarious one where they got a scammer in Nigeria to make wooden keyboards !
