During all the suicide hotline threads I can't believe I forgot to mention this project and hotline. It is geared toward gay, lesbian, bi, transgendered, and questioning youth. If the national suicide hotline is really going to be a religious right organization those of you who know LGBT youth may wish to book mark this site and write down this number.

In the midst of all the gains gay and lesbian youth have made over the years, sadly suicide rates have been a striking exception. The current figures are 40% try once and 33% twice or more. We are still vastly more likely to try suicide than our straight cohorts.
