5. Laura Bush. She's the only one of the bunch who ever heard of Camus
Remember she was a librarian.

Not that she's actually read Camus, but she's probably heard of him.

6. Horsey reminds me of one particular Mad Magazine illustrator from the 60s
& his political toons are the best. He and Tom Toles of the Washington Post (formerly Buffalo, NY).

10. Some resemblance to the "Berg's eye view" guy, but this artist was sooner
I started reading Mad in the 1970s. I only found this artist in those paperback collections that were collections of 1960s cartoons.

My mother used to buy us boys Mad Magazines so we would not fight over who owned them. She said "you will learn more about life between those covers than I could ever teach you". Tomorrow's her birthday. :loveya:
