John Mark Karr, the suspect in the death of 6-year-old JonBenet Ramsey, sipped champagne and ate fried king prawns in business class Sunday after being put aboard a flight to Los Angeles to face charges in the United States.

As Karr wined and dined in style and chatted with the three U.S. officials escorting him, another bombshell emerged: Reports that Karr sought treatment at a Thai sex-change clinic.

Karr, who was not charged with any crime in Thailand, was being expelled because he is regarded as an undesirable person. He was not being extradited.

His Thai Airways International flight took off about 8 p.m. (9 a.m. EDT) for the 15-hour flight to Los Angeles. Karr's journey will eventually end in Boulder, Colo., where he is expected to face charges of first-degree murder, kidnapping and child sexual assault in connection with the young beauty queen's 1996 killing.

5. I wonder why his ex wife is being given so much privacy

In this day and age, no one gets privacy in a high profile case such as this. Why do we not even know what she looks like? One would think a thousand photogs would be camped at her residence.

I wish this story would go away quickly, but know it won't.

I just don't know what to think. At this point, I'm leaning towards he's a pedophile, but had no opportunity to kill JBR. Whadda I know, though? Really nothing, except he is obviously a very mentally troubled individual.

6. That makes sense

When my partner and I were watching a clip of Karr on Countdown we both had the same reaction, he has such a lean build so why does this guy have breasts. At first I thought it was some weird type of bullet proof vest under the shirt but it just wasn't right somehow. Now it makes sense.
