Kerry Calls Lieberman the New Cheney

Kerry Calls Lieberman the New Cheney

Senator Labels Bush Iraq Policy 'Disaster,' Lieberman Bid 'Huge Mistake'

By ED O'KEEFE

Aug. 20, 2006 — Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., blasted fellow a Democrat, Sen. Joe Lieberman, for continuing his bid in the Connecticut Senate race despite a narrow loss to newcomer Ned Lamont in the Democratic primary earlier this month.

"I'm concerned that is making a Republican case," Kerry told ABC News' "This Week with George Stephanopoulos" in an exclusive appearance.

Kerry accused the 2000 Democratic vice presidential candidate of "adopting the rhetoric of Dick Cheney," on the issue of Iraq.

"Joe Lieberman is out of step with the people of Connecticut," Kerry added, insisting Lieberman's stance on Iraq, "shows you just why he got in trouble with the Democrats there."

3. Dear ABC
Lieberman is not a Democrat. He has registered for an election as an independent after the Democrats of CT rejected him. I hope you will correct this error in reporting.

Thank you,

Zola

6. I've never been a fan of John Kerry, but thanks John for spanking
Lieberman and keep it up. Lieberman is a willing GOP tool and he will hurt all Democrats, not just Ned Lamont.

8. If only Kerry had been this sharp and incisive in 2004
he could have built a Diebold-proof margin of support and... well, you know.

9. Like Lieberman In Connecticut, So Olmert In Israel
In Los Angeles Times. 8/20, p. 14, "JERSUALEM--Israel's costly and inconclusive war in Lebanon has triggered a round of internal recriminations so bitter that some observers question whether Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's government can survive."

Anyone can see the parallel with the vote for the "Invasion of Iraq to Demonstrate The Failure of Republican Social, Economic, and Geopolitical Reasoning," and even worldwide. Senator Lieberman is cited by former President Clinton as being in favor of deposing Sadaam Hussein, WMD's or none.

And so Senator Lieberman made started to explain to peoples assembled that pre-emptive war is justified war.

And even now in Israel there is debate regarding whether or not the outcome of justified war going in, is the same as the justification for the war coming out.

War as a political platform?

There are people who expect that to win in Connecticut?

11. We smoked Lieberman out.
before he worked his way into a position where he could really do some damage. Joe is still the same old stealth candidate he always was.

Joe "It wasn't supposed to be like this." Lieberman.

Now, who will be his stealth replacement in the GOP 5th.column in the Democratic and other parties?
