All this crap about listening and spying on al Qaeda calling into this country is simply that: crap.

Watching the would-be dictator walk away angrily from his news conference yesterday, with about 10 or 12 of his closest advisers following close behind, one could imagine the closest advisers of Hitler following him into his bunker. And they think they will never be caught?

They are spying on everyone. Illegally. No doubt, they have their dossiers on all the jellyfish press also. Those that read the lines from the White House and protect their sources so valiantly are themselves unwitting victims. Yet they continue to defend this White House at every turn.

The Soviets were out to get us (and armed with real weapons of mass destruction), and the North Vietnamese weren't far behind. He had to spy on Americans, he said, to protect the liberties of Americans.

Recall that, during the Presidential campaign of 1992, when it was clear that Clinton was going to be the nominee, it was discovered that then-President George Bush (Senior) had used Clinton's mother's Internal Revenue Service documents, to try to dig up dirt on Clinton or Clinton's family. An outrage at the time, but typical for the Bush family, which has many times used Government departments or "private" documents for their own personal use, to persecute others, etc., although that is supposed to be illegal. I remember when it was exposed that Bush was going over Clinton's mother's IRS file--disgusting--but all these years later, hanging around with them, having a great old time as one big happy family of rich people, Clinton seems to have no pride at all.
