I thought it read like this:

And if someone wants to sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well. If someone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles. Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you.(Matthew 5:38-42, NIV)

I didn't read the fine print that said "But I tell you, do not resist an evil person until I'm done talking. If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also while you remove your safety and take aim. And if someone wants to sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well;then gather your gang and hit his place with cluster bombs."

But I do know that the three historic peace churches have the lowest membership numbers, which should tell you something. The Church of the Brethren had advisor status at the World Council of Churches for a long time. Every year, the advisor introduced his modest proposal: That Christians should forswear to use violence against other Christians. For some odd reason, they could never get the Anglican representative from England and the Catholic representative from Ireland to agree.

9. "Christian" is just a term for "white" to them.

It's an ethnic group loosely affiliated with the religion. They aren't about to follow the dictates of that religion. It wouldn't allow them to kill people in revenge, it wouldn't allow them to conquer other countries, etc.
