Poll question: Vote on Iraq as a litmus test?
Yes, things are complicated. BUT, any elected official who voted in favor of invading Iraq because of WMDs and links with 9/11 showed remarkably poor judgement or plain cowardly servility, or both. Shouldn't that be a litmus test? Those who voted in favor should not be reelected. How do you feel about it?

1. No one issue should be a litmus test
There are far too many problems to try to work the wedge angle.

2. Possible. But
Anyone who contributed to the loss of hundred of billion dollars for a company would be fired, at best... All I'm saying...

5. Entirely your prerogative to do so
I however, choose to look at the whole board of all the issues I can. Iraq is and was a huge mistake, but if our Congress was not well informed as they should have been, then they might have done the best they could. I don't necessarily believe that to be the case, just a possible situation, and authorizing the use of force, does not necessarily mean "okay let's start shooting".

3. Iraq is the only issue I'm voting for in the fall
This supersedes all other issues; we have to bring them home and we're going to need spine to do that. Without spine, then expect the debacle to last a decade.

4. I am more if favor of how they plan to deal with the current situation
I also care about whether they have solutions to our energy independence, foreign debt, hardships of working Americans, health care, etc.
