Why Hillary Will Never Be President
Okay, I was in a tourist-trap shop in Las Vegas last night. It was better than most "Indian" stuff - they actually had the real deal upstairs, but had the cheap "Made in China" knockoffs downstairs. Anyway, we're checking out and I see by the cash register a stack of fake $3 bills with a very unflattering picture of Hillary Clinton on them. There's another one stack of these things with her wearing a crown like a queen, and one with a picture of Big Dog with "sex dollars" on it. It was too bad that our purchase was over by the time I noticed them, or I'd have walked right out. But then, we were in another shop, and saw the same thing.

So, if tourist-trap shops are displaying this stuff to be peddled to the drunken masses in Las Vegas, that message is bound to sink into a lot of booze-addled brains.

And this, dear DU-ers, is why Hillary will never be President. She's got too much baggage, and too many people hate her.

1. Well, she might not be President, but not for those reasons.

3. I think that could be a factor though
We are not talking about sane sensible poeple here - we are talking about the crazed base - people who aren't likely to be enthused about who the Republicans put up - they are going to be angry enough against hillary to donate and march and campaign, not for the republican nominee but against hillary -sad but inevitable.

2. Those "bills" have been peddled in southern gas stations for over 10yrs
already. Bill Clinton is alot more popular in the south now then he was from 96 thru 2004. People are slowly wising up to the GOP line of bull fed to them by the corpmedia.

5. Oh yes. we are starting to long for the good ol days of peace and
prosperity. The other things - that didn't matter in the first place - are starting to fade.

4. With Hillery
Everyone has already decided, it is either LOVE her to death, or hate her with the white hot intensity of a thousand suns. Their is only a hand full of folks left that have NOT made up their mind about her. And the numbers are not good for her.

7. Thank you. This country is not so running out of talent we gotta retread
It's an insult to our republicanism to suggest family relation to a prior president is qualification for office.

8. I agree that she never will be President,
but your argument doesn't make sense. Didn't Bush have too much baggage in 2004? Don't a whole lot of people hate him? Aren't there even anti-Bush fake dollar bills in circulation?

Her chances are slim not because people hate her, but because she isn't an inspiration to most of us Democrats--certainly, not the inspiration her husband was.
