How Much Would It Cost To Actually Fix Anything In Iraq?
Let's see, if we've spent $300 Billion so far and accomplished nothing of any good what so ever just how much more would we have to spend to actually accomplish anything worthwhile?

It boggles the mind ...

1. It took the Iraqis 6 months to rebuild their country after Gulf War 1.
If they didn't have the US bombing their cities and trying to install a puppet gov't, they could probably do it in a year at a very reasonable cost. Especially if they used Iraqis and didn't have help from Halliburton and all the other US firms.

2. incomplete question. Do we include
Cheney-Haliburton's share, or do we allow the contract to go to someone who will really do the work?

Isn't is surprising just how quickly all those stories of fraud and theft by US contractors seem to disappear into the ether?

3. Just think what it would be like
if all that money actually went toward fixing the place! And to think we spent it making it worse--absolutely unbelievable.

How much will it cost to start fixing things? Well, first get an accurate count of the troops, then multiply by the cost of transporation to the states...
