“Other than routine crimes, extremism is a greater danger and needs to be addressed,” he told top-ranking high police officials in Islamabad.
Musharraf said the police must adapt to the changed environment plagued by the twin menaces of terrorism and extremism.
“Terrorism has to be met with force and law enforcement agencies are doing a great job but there is a strategy to deal with extremisms as it involves change in the mindset”, he said.
