Back in the old days, John Karr would've been hung for murder already.
Just the other day, quite a few folks here were more than ready to assume Patsy had been cleared forever from beyond the grave and the killer had finally been caught and they had been vindicated for being right all along, yet, all that has fallen apart.

The case is still a cold case, unsolved, perhaps forever, but it just goes to show you how quickly people come to conclusions based on a few news reports.

Nobody likes a pedophile, and this guy is a real creepy weirdo for sure, but I suppose I'm just glad that there was no lynch mob and the guy hung from a tree for murdering Jonbenet.

I don't know who killed the little girl ten years ago, I've always had my suspicions, but the reactions from some folks here the other day were just a wee bit frightening.

There are many famous cases of innocent people being executed, and if we didn't have the court system we have today, this weirdo would've been lynched, which is maybe what he wants, being a miserable scumbag.

1. The media whores were busy doing their usual

media lynching all along.

Meanwhile, the ruling on illegal wiretapping, more innocents being killed in the ME, and Katrina survivor woes were just a blip on the media screen, if seen at all. :grr:

2. Back in the old days, some black guy would have been lynched..
the day after they found the body, and that would have been the end of it.

3. Geez, your first sentence is a doozy. It's a good thing Patsy didn't
ever get too close to you when you were near rope.

No one knows anything. I take that back, only the doer knows.

4. I believe Karr should be imprisoned for life, and I hope he is
Who knows about the Ramsey case, I'm not even talking about that, but the details of his life are very disturbing (marrying two teenage girls, this obsession with young girls he teaches, the fact that he keeps getting teaching jobs despite getting fired!) and obviously he has serious mental illness that can not be cured (pediophilia can NOT be cured at the present time, and the simple fact that he TOLD the press that he had sex with jon-bennet, whether he did or not, that indicates the sickened state of his mind), and add to that: he is clearly familiar with global travel and is a flight risk if he's ever not in prison, like the way he skipped out on child pornography charges in CA.

I don't believe in the death penalty, but permanent imprisonment for the sickest individuals, who cannot be cured, is justified, imo. And maybe someday a cure will be found, but until then, he needs to remain locked up. The harm he does to young girls, I'm not even talking about murder, just molestation, is way worse, and more far reaching, than any suffering he will do in prison.

6. Is there something wrong with me on this one?
I want this man dead. I don't care if he actually murdered JonBenet Ramsey or not....he is a sick freak.

And....I don't even believe in the death penalty.

8. To answer your question: Yes, there is something wrong with you. The man
may be a "freak" but does that mean he should die? Without a trial? And you say you don't believe in the death penalty ... hmmmm. I say the man needs help. Serious help.

Oh and by the way, I'm another person who is tired of this case hijaking the MSM for the last two days.

7. Dr. Phil checks in tonight on ET. I guess he wasn't around10 years
ago for circus-go-round #1. This creates the complete circle of media fools. If there is a camera, they will all be there.
