Sen. Boxer steps up fpr wounded veterans A good story for a change
War--wounded are arriving at San Diego Naval Medical Center sonner in their recovery, Hospital officails said.
Boxer step up to the plate on this one She pushed hard and got $7 million for Comprehensive Combat Care Center. The hospital is being Called the "Walter Reed of the West"

The hospital has beef up for PTSD support programs. This program will help Families out west and stop some of the cost for only going to Walter Reed for treatment that can take years.
