How do you make a "Muslims only" line?

There are several ways of doing it.

The Absolutist Way - Anyone who fits the stereotypical image of a Muslim will be put in this line. Segregationists will love this one as some prejudiced people might want to say that ANY dark skinned might be a Muslim.

The Interrogation Way - People will be asked if they are a Muslim or not. Once again, segregation could become a factor, there are a lot of RW Christians in this country who might ask if they are not a Muslim, what about being a Christian, and therefore get better service.

The Identification Way - Identifying marks (Badges for instance) will be placed on Muslims if they are found out to be so. Acts of violence against them could become very common in the US.

RW'ers want segregation, they want it on the Internet by opposing Net Neutrality, and they want it in the airport, it's all too clear now.

Having a mother (me) of Irish Catholic heritage and a father of Indian Muslim descent ... What line would my children stand in.

As my 12 year old daughter likes to say, when she hears bigoted stereotyping comments: Well just put me down as an alcoholic terrorist and be done with it.

Malaysians, Indonesians, Nigerians, Chinese (Uighers), Russians, Indians, Phillipinos.

They could all be Muslim.

And none of them are Arabic.

It seems like I'm constantly reminding people that most Muslims arn't Arabs and that all Arabs are not Muslims. If You told these people that 40% of Lebanese Arabs and 10% of Egyptian Arabs are Christians thier heads might explode.

Just flood the "Muslims only" lines with activists who oppose profiling. Or, if they use interrogation, have everyone claim to be Muslim. Bung up the system to the point of hurting profits.
