I just found this very interesting study about corporate giving programs
and support for liberal causes.

Check it out. Surprising to say the least.

It doesn't take PAC and Political Contributions into account.

and since when is the "League of Women Voters" a leftist organization?

2. Easy.
They encourage people to vote instead of suppressing the vote. Leftist.

6. League of Women Voters = A.N.S.W.E.R.??!!??

Both get a rating of 1 (radical leftist) on the CRC's "Ideological rating" (a 1 to 8 scale, 1="radical leftist", 8="free market right").

Kinda gives you a clue on its reliablity.

Their list of nonprofits:

4. That one is particularly interesting I thought.
I didn't have time to read the study, I just skimmed the list.

Interesting to say the least.

5. Two points that make it less than they claim:
1) Take a look at the groups they categorize as "left". Basically anyone who isn't a conservative activist group.

2) Most of what they list there are from "matching donations" (programs they have where they'll match an employee's donation from funds the company has already allotted to tax-load-reducing "charitable donations"). There's no lobbying involved.
