When It Comes To Campaigning On Terror, Why Can't It Be This Easy?
I say the permanent repeated meme from dems should simply be:

"They seek to control you by keeping you scared. We seek to soothe you by keeping you safe."

Why can't it just be that simple? They are going to keep coming after us over and over with the fear tactics and heavy handed terror connotations. I say every time they do we just respond simply by saying the above, over and over.

2. Even simpler
They'll keep you scared, we'll keep you safe.

3. Funny You Say That. That Was My Original Thought, But I Decided To
change it to reflect the gop lies and tactics of control. I figured people like to be soothed, but generally hate the concept of being controlled. I did debate whether the simpler statement you posted, which was word for word the original thought in my head, was the better way to go as simplicity usually is. In the end though I went for the additional evil vs good connotations.

But seeing the phrase typed rather then mentally, I find myself undecided again and leaning towards the simpler one. It does seem to stand on its own. Either way, it could be that simple to rebut their tactics couldn't it? I think they should keep repeating something like this. Take their ace card away and turn it back around on them.
