It's obvious some Democrats did not receive the message..
..in regards to the defeat of Joe Lieberman. Some of them are getting a little weak-kneed and do not want to support the Democratic candidate chosen by the Democratic voters of Connecticut. Joe Biden was the latest this morning on the Imus show. He refrained from supporting Ned Lamont at this time. Maybe he doesn't want to hurt Ol' Joe's feelings and hoping he will come to his senses and drop out of the race?

Or maybe they didn't get the message that the voters sent Joe Lieberman. He was fired! And others can be shown the same door, Mr. Biden and Ms. Landrieu. The Democratic voters do not like the direction these neo-cons have taken us. If you cannot denounce them and their policies, perhaps you might need to find another line of work?

7. Joe Biden pisses me off
He used to confuse me but his way of barking without biting just makes me mad now. Here's my imitation of Biden;

"I hate what you've done. I don't believe in your stance or politics but I'm going to vote for you anyway, Mr. Alito/Roberts/Bolten."

grrrr

2. Biden's gonna run for Prez.
He doesn't want to commit cause he wants Lieberman supporters to vote for him. Only thinking of himself.

4. It's unbelievable to me. It shows what contempt they have for voters.
Fuck these people. The voters have the only say in this.

6. Voters Have Say In This??????
LOL!!! That's rich! I thought the voters already voted.

If THEY don't like the way the vote turns out, they'll decide what's best. Voting is just an illusion to make us believe in Democracy.

5. Memo To Citizens Of Amerika...."You Think Your Votes Matter?"
When are the people on DU going to realize, that this sham posing as "elections" are just a veneer to give people the illusion that their votes count, and allow the media to run ELECTION COVERAGE for months on end, hyping the vote, and making it appear that it will make a difference.

When it's close, they flip the vote. When they lose, they continue to run anyways. It's a birth right. Lieberman has been there 18 years, and he'll be there another 18. Let it go people.

The sooner we accept that they're in authority, and they know what's best for us, the easier it will be. Sure, we can spend time complaining, and wondering why it is we don't get anywhere, but why bother? There's more peace in realizing that the future is theirs to decide, and not ours. Now go back to enjoying your ipods, your internets, and your dull existences.
