How to destroy Republicans 101

You destroy their Symbols.

There are two types of Symbols that the Republicans use:

The "OMG, we're only poor persecuted innocent old white guys" (Underdog) Symbol

And

The "If you vote Democratic, you'll be sorry" (You'll be Sorry) Symbol.

The Underdog Symbol includes:

The "Liberal Media" Mantra
The "War on Christmas" Mantra
The "War on Christian Conservatives" Mantra

The You'll be Sorry Symbol includes:

"Stay the course"
"If you don't vote for us, then Al Qaeda wins"

How to destroy these symbols:
Debunk them
Make fun of them
Boycott the groups which actively support these symbols

I'd also throw in the Immigration debate in the You'll Be Sorry Symbol.

You could argue that a third tier "Republicans are moral; Democrats are not" under which you could put issues like Abortion or Gay Marriage. But while this has been a staple thread, I don't think it's one they are using right now as much.
