Just dump all your disallowed goodies in the bin: How about
the fact that those bottles and gels, if really a danger, could explode as they impacted with the disposal bin and blow all the TSA personnel and the waiting passengers to smithereens. Somehow I doubt if this means of disposal of questionable goods was well thought out. But then again, is anything this administration does ever well thought out? Good grief, one stupid response after another.

1. This disposal bin can't blow up, there would be nothing left to salvage...

2. This was in a thread a couple of days ago
and the point was that the TSA is providing 50 gallon drums for the bad guys to use. Such an incident is certainly possible and I would think would be desirable by them. It would really make a mess of air travel, attack infrastructure, increase fear and play well on the 24/7 news cycles (in their opinion) as the TV crews could return again and again to the scene asking the same useless questions.

3. I flew last Thursday
with my three grown daughters. We all read the travel advisories that day and we packed everything and just took our purses on board. When we got to the airport, we were told lipsticks and lip glosses were not permitted on the plane. This was AFTER our luggage had been checked in. I know it seems petty, but we each had about four lipsticks and glosses and we had to dump them, which meant when we arrived in California we had to buy more. So let's see...the boarders are still Swiss cheese, the ports are being given away to foreign countries, there is no protection of nuclear and chemical plants, but my lipgloss has been confiscated in order to make the world a safer place in which to live. I hope all of you are breathing easier now.
