DAYTON, Ohio (AP) -- First lady Laura Bush helped raise money for Republican candidates in three states Wednesday in crucial midterm elections.

She campaigned in Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia, headlining a fundraising luncheon for U.S. Sen. Mike DeWine in suburban Kettering.
