Lamont did very well in handling Tweety's rough questions just now.
He shot a couple of barbs at Cheney, Shrub, and coupled Leiberman with Schleshinger on their stance on Iraq! So far, he's done very well in every interview I've seen.

3. Yes, that was impressive.
And it was one of those times I liked Matthews: Lieberman and Cheney, "two peas in a pod".

4. Just caught the very tail end of it
did he try and throw Sharton in his face.

Mr. Lamont handled Kudlow beautifully re Sharpton earlier this evening. I think Kudlow was feeling a bit small after the interview.

9. Memory has gotten a bit old and leaky...
But, Kudlow flew into the typical feigned indignation asking him if he was proud to have Sharpton behind him on the victory stand. Naturally the worn out Tawana Brawley meme was thrown out asking him with a question about what role Al will play in his campaign.

Ned basically brushed off the talking points (you hear'em here after every mention of Als' name. Telling Kud that Als' message today is powerful and that he was proud to have his support.

Also, Kudlow kept throwing at Ned that Lieberman is Jewish, but Ned just repeated each time that Lieberman repeatedly asked Al to join him on the campaign trail but Al chose to support him (Ned) instead.

This guy is the real deal, confident, doesn't stutter, and speaks honestly and bluntly.

The guy that you would like to have a beer with.

8. No. Tweety did not mention Sharpton. He asked about Bill Clinton's
support, about how he was going to stop the big contributors who have been giving to Joe for years from continuing to give Joe lots of $$, what he really believed about Iraq, and some things about his Pub opponent Schleshinger. Nothing about Sharpton though.

6. Lamont is like a
dream candidate against lieberwhiner. Thinking back to last year at this time having to listen to whatever propoganda lieberman was spewing and wishing someone would step up to challenge him in the primary("We need a real Dem Senator from Connecticut, not a dino!") and here he is! :patriot: :patriot:
