Here's a thought... (Re: JonBenet arrest)
John Mark Carr "...was arrested Wednesday morning and has confessed to certain elements of the crime that are unknown to the general public, CNN affiliate KUSA reported." http://edition.cnn.com/2006/LAW/08/16/ramsey.arrest/

He's confessed to certain elements not known to the general public. Confessed...actual wording or NewsSpeak?

Could it be he's not the killer, but KNOWS the killer?

Details screwed up as they come in by all International, National, and Local news media outlets :silly:

2. And your point in relation to my post is...?
Edited on Wed Aug-16-06 05:59 PM by Whoa_Nelly
BTW...there are many convicted sex offenders "out on the street", some registered, some who registered, then moved and did not re-register, some who completely ditched registering upon their release from jail/prison, and many who are openly living in places all over, as can be seen at Megan's Law state websites (for those states that do allow access to the list.)

3. my point is whether he's the killer or knows the killer IMO sex
offenders should be in jail.

but just wondering what's going on. The news media is being very vague regarding this guy, in a case that's already had plenty of twists and turns.

I hope the whole situation is finally over, but we have to reserve judgement on the Ramsey case until we hear more.

While I despise every single person who harms a child, and think the laws are too lenient especially regarding sex offenders, the point of my OP is just to throw out a thought I had about what may or may not come out in the news over the next several days...or weeks...or years...News pundit knuckle-dragging is a common occurance :D

8. The reasoning around the word confessed. I thought the statement
was pretty clear, but I might be missing something.

I really don't get it. so sorry..

9. Am just questioning the use of the word "confessed" as to
whether it is the actual event, or NewsSpeak.

10. Heres a couple more thoughts, fwiw
Edited on Wed Aug-16-06 07:12 PM by acmejack
A. Took your minds right off of the other events of the last few days.
B. Already hounded the guy out of the Country.
C. Given these guys record, you actually don't know if he's guilty of anything.
D. The Thai Police could easily have persuaded him to confess to killing JFK, Abe Lincoln and anyone else they wanted him to.

14. The news also said that he and Patsy had been exchanging emails, so...
...I wonder if what he knew about the murder he got from Patsy (if she knew the details). Also wonder how they knew each other, if this is true. His brother says he was not even in Colorado that Christmas, but was at his house. (In Cali, I think). I wonder if this guy could be lying just to get some noteriety. It's been done before.

15. Hmmm...
from what I heard, he stated he was involved in a kidnapping that went awry. Was he alone? And if, not - who else was involved?

(The real issue tho' is that this will dominate the news cycle allowing the MSM to once again avoid telling us any truth & news).
