7. Lancaster just got electronic "voting" machines
That, and Lancaster is a very Bushevik area, especially the surrounding county.

12. Good question. I don't know for sure. Probably the way they always have
Paper and pen? White and black stones dropped into a jar? Beats the hell out of me.

What I do know is that there are a helluva lot more people in Lancaster County than just the Amish. And they will be "voting" on BushPutinist Vote Eaters.

13. The Amish don't vote. It's a worldly activity.
Edited on Wed Aug-16-06 11:26 PM by vickiss
I know this because my ex- ran for county commissioner and thought he'd get the Amish vote.

On edit:

Apparently the Amish that told him that were wrong. But in all my years voting in an Amish area, I have never seen one voting.

8. Rolling on the ground with an oval ball makes him gubernatorial stock?
Give me a f'ing break.

I love how the parties trot out these clowns and run them on name recognition.

They don't know shit about running anything but they expect the stupid voters to climb on the bandwagon because they have fans from another life.

I hope he loses by 90-10 in November. And gets his name changed, too. To something like Mary, or Sally.

9. Lancaster, Pa is home of the Amish, How could any peace loving
Amish person ever vote for the perpetrator of death and destruction. The Amish shunt wrong doers. And, so should all of us.

11. Talked to a friend from York Pa. last night
He took and early retirement from Caterpillar after 30 yrs as they forced out the union with mercenaries. Many companies taking pay and benefit cuts in that area, as the war on the middle class continues. Not much support by the working man for "dub". They have seen the light; but too late. So if the flag waving biker boys of Harley Davidson think that W is the answer, have them look around at the other factories in the area and know that they are next.
