STFU, Nancy Grace----JonBenet--
Edited on Wed Aug-16-06 05:27 PM by pacoyogi
You know, I've endured a great deal of crap from posters, and poseurs, on this board regarding JonBenet.

Now, Justice, finally.

STFU, every single poster who ever slandered poor Patsy and John.

RIP JonBenet, and your mother, too...

John Mark Carr---

1. Thank you for saying it! Hopefully they got the murderer and...
John Ramsey and his son can have closure. Unfortunately, Patsy Ramsey suffered with more than just cancer and won't have that satisfaction.

4. The shit was deep and wide everywhere.
It was generated by the Boulder Sheriff's Dept. and the Boulder Police, not to mention no end of putative "eckspurts" who wrote no end of books.

A lot of people want to put their trust in eckspurts and law enforcement. It is how we were raised. Also, critical thinking is not a skill well taught in this society.

I am not too upset at those who thought The Ramseys were responsible. It's gonna take a real huge mental movement in this country for us to get over our deep need for easy answers and easier revenge. Not justice. Revenge. Poor Lady Justice hardly has a friend left in this country, in truth.

13. That is good that she knew an arrest was coming...
it had to make her untimely death a little more peaceful.

3. Anytime I see that woman's face or hear her unbearable voice
I have to switch the channel. She's the worst kind of "journalist" she is the judge and jury and if she could be would be the executioner too.

5. I, for one, do not intend to STFU and
I resent being told to do so. I have strong suspicions concerning this arrest, and I still believe at least one, if not both, of the Ramseys were involved. And as for the man who was arrested ever getting a fair trial, good fucking luck with that. The dipshit Boulder police fucked up with the crime scene, it was irreparably contaminated, and there's no way that can ever be made right.

9. Funny--if the Boulder Police screwed up the crime scene, then
what evidence remains to convict the Ramseys?

10. I too thought the family was involved - I feel terrible, but it was my ...
opinion.

However the news is stating there is a DNA match. We'll see how this plays out, but I am terribly sorry for the family. I wasn't rabid about it, but with all the fumbles with LE... And the notes contents of money and handwriting. I was on the LE side of the fence.

17. I didn't hear that there was a DNA match
Thanks for that info. I stand by innocent until proved guilty. We know very little about the person who was arrested or the evidence. I'm not ready to say that this case is solved.

15. You want the man arrested to have a fair trial yet you seem to...
have your mind made up that the Ramsey's did it. It doesn't make sense to me. I for one never thought the Ramsey's did it and hopefully this vindicates them.

11. I don't know who you are, or why you think you are entitled to tell others
what they may or may not do on this board, but I am going to remind you of a fact or two. Arresting someone is NOT proof of guilt, for one thing. For another, a good many of us are far too well aware of the discrepancies and odd facts in that case, including the fact that ramsey himself contaminated the crime scene. Many things that were told are simply not credible, and the ramseys were basically treated with kid gloves.

I don't know the truth about what happened, but just because somebody was picked up, with "knowledge of some things not known to the public" does not automatically prove your point.

and just as a matter of curiousity, you seem to have an almost unhealthy interest in this case. why is that, exactly?

12. That attitude you are eluding to sure worked for
those on this board who "looked" into Patsy's eyes and knew she was guilty. You are right that an arrest proves nothing just like accusations about Jon & Patsy meant nothing. That didn't stop people on this board for convicting the Ramseys So I think a little evening out on the issue is appropriate.

16. i don't think you can blame folks for
being AT LEAST suspicious...

i've always wanted there to be closure to this case... i never BLAMED the parents, but i never really thought of them as 100% innocent either.

i just hope they've found the right guy and there'll be justice for little jonbenet and the whole family.

20. Somehow I get the feeling that opinions went FAR beyond...
... what you're trying to minimize as mere "suspicion".

But that's just a guess - fuck if I'm gonna pay any attention to that kinda shit - lol!
