Poll question: What would have given Bush a vote of no confidence?

Let's just say we had a parliamentary system here, and Bush was PM rather than Prez....

Which event would have given him this vote (and remember it has to come from his own party)

2. Possibly....but consider the dynamics of Parliamentary Democracy
If they tie themselves to a sinking ship, they lose seats next election - and sometimes those elections are forced with little or no warning.

In a Parliamentary system, you MUST negotiate.

5. Katrina by far was a miserable job on behalf of the federal govt.
and everybody realized it. It is what really propelled his downturn in the polls.
