I downloaded the Al Franken Show . . .
from a "bit-torrent" archive to be opened by itunes. I got a message that it was about to perform an illegal action, gave me the option to end or ignore, I clicked ignore. Several times before it would take. All I got from itunes was a black window with nothing, no sound, no listings. I tried to open itunes from the desktop, just open it but not play anything, and again, all I got was the black window. I know I was wrong to try to get a free archive, but, did it somehow corrupt the itunes program? I even restarted and dumped the file in the trash. My husband listens to podcasts everyday and I feel bad that I many have effed the program up. Does anyone more knowledgeable know what I did and how to fix it?

2. Reboot your computer. I'm guessing everything is fine.
Using a torrent isn't the same as downloading something.

4. Relax. itunes can probably be repaired or reinstalled.
I don't use itunes or might have better advice.

Good luck.
