I was listening to WPTT radio when their news reported that this passenger didn't have any forbidden items and was just freaking out from being in the plane so long. The host Lynn Cullen, asked the news guy "Where does this crap come from?" The news guy said it's a product of wanting to get the story FIRST so everyone goes with the first rumor instead of the first fact!
