Do ya'll find this Election Projection fairly accurate?
Is there a better one?

http://www.electionprojection.com/elections2006.html

The site shows that Bilbray and Busby are running against each other again. I realize that Cunningham's seat had to be filled, but was it still electable just a few months after the most recent election?

1. Here's the scoop
It is a Republican site (the owner is a strong Christian whose parents were both killed as missionaries in Iraq) but I followed many prediction sites in 2004 and he was amazingly accurate.

2. I found a preposterous link on that site...
http://betoniraq.com/ This is the most outrageous thing I've seen in a long time. I guess it sums up the neocon/Libertarian mentality.

4. Almost LOL
which would've sucked because my girlfriend's asleep!

I really hope these morans do waste all their money on Dinars, less for the RNC... Of course, I have to hand it to em for the money-where-mouth-is aspect.

3. seems fairly accurate on the senate and gov races
But it only projects 8 dem house pickups, which doesn't seem right.

5. Is there another site that isn't run by a RWer?
Edited on Wed Aug-16-06 08:55 AM by librarycard
I'd like to follow it.

I used the above site to get basic info of candidates, read bios/political views, and I sent money to:

Jack Carter/NV
Bob Casey/PA
Jon Tester/Montana
Claire McCaskill/Missouri
Sherrod Brown/OH
Harold Ford/TN
Jim Webb/VA
Phil Angelides/CA gov.

I based my contribution decisions primarily on which RW incumbent I disliked the most. A lot of the dem candidates' views on Iraq don't strongly parallel my own, but they're better than the opposing RWers' views currently in office.

On edit: while looking for another site, I found this in Google. Another DU poster had posted the election projection site. There's got to be another such site to refer to, if not cross-reference. I'll keep looking.

6. Another one
Here is one that I didn't know about in 2004 but many people here on DU seem to recommend.
