BBC: US 'better on Potter than Blair'
Interesting - you wonder whether some people go around with their eyes closed all the time (when it comes to books anyway).

1. Blair's Gone Anyway
Edited on Wed Aug-16-06 03:41 AM by qwertyMike
before the next election, by his own admission.
The Iraq thing screwed him.

Never read any of the Harry Potter things.

Preisdent (wannabe) Blair is toast.
He was a yuppie/liberal, not the real Socialists the Brits may want.

Then again they have colour TV.

So, who knows? Down the middle, with episodes of "Friends"?

Thatchter destroyed the Unions.
So, Ho Hum Let's bomb Iraq, or 45 minute enemy.

Jesus

Mick

2. Bush better on Blair than Potter
First, Bush doesn't like to be bothered with reading (Bias was a prop for a photo-op)

Second, they have to keep reminding him of who he has to meet, so he doesn't keep asking Blair "When's Tony getting here?"

3. We as a nation are growing increasingly more ignorant
of anything that is personally important to us. When someone says, "I'm not interested in politics, that's not lack of interest, that's ignorance.
